At the beginning of 2014, I spent some time at a house of meditation in an isolated location on the Baltic where I found inspiration for the name of the…work. In veneration of Saint Theresa of Avila, the piece is entitled Castillo Interior.This title refers to her book Moradas del Castillo Interior ['Dwellings of the Interior Castle'] written in 1577, considered as the magnum opus of the great mystic.- P_teris Vasks (Translation: Lindsay Chalmers-Gerbracht)Instrumentation:violin, viola and cello; Die Originalfassung dieser Komposition entstand 2013 für Violine und Violoncello auf Anregung der Cellistin Sol Gabetta. Anfang 2014 verbrachte ich einige Zeit in einem Meditationshaus in einem entlegenen Ort an der Ostsee, wo das Streichduo schließlich seinen Namen erhielt. In Verehrung für die Heilige Teresa von Avila habe ich das Stück Castillo Interior genannt.Dieser Titel bezieht sich auf das 1577 von ihr geschriebene Buch Moradas del Castillo Interior ['Wohnungen der Inneren Burg'], welches als das Hauptwerk der großen Mystikerin gilt.- P_teris VasksSchwierigkeitsgrad: 4 40 pp. Deutsch, Englisch.

Notenblatt. Condition: Neu. Neuware - 'Vox amoris', apart from 'Tala gaisma' (Distant Light), is Vasks' second violin concerto with string orchestra accompaniment. The world premiere of this Fantasia per violino ed archi, as Vasks calls this one-movement work, took place in Sydney. The composer says about his piece: 'It is about… the greatest power in the whole world - love. Love is, was and will be as long as we will be. I believe that solo violin and string orchestra is the best combination for a 'love story'.'For study purposes, Schott has now published the piano reduction of the concerto with solo part.Instrumentation:violin and string orchestra; Neben 'Tala gaisma' (Fernes Licht) ist 'Vox amoris' Vasks' zweites Violinkonzert mit Streichorchesterbegleitung. Die Uraufführung dieser Fantasia per violino ed archi, wie Vasks das einsätzige Werk nennt, fand in Sydney statt. Der Komponist sagt über das Stück: 'Es geht um die größte Macht auf der ganzen Welt - Liebe. Liebe ist, was immer war und immer sein wird, solange es uns gibt. Ich glaube, dass mit der Solovioline und dem Streichorchester die beste Wahl für eine 'Love story' getroffen ist.'Zum besseren Studium veröffentlicht Schott hier den Klavierauszug des Konzerts mit Solostimme.Schwierigkeitsgrad: 5.
