A facsimile of a very scarce little pamphlet on carriages and how to repair them from the renowned coach builders, printed with the permission of their former director and chief designer Osman Rivers. Printed in 1966, believed to have been originally printed in c.1930. In the publisher's original paper wraps, with an in-text map showing where Hooper and Co.'s factory and showrooms are located in Westminster. An advertisement to the rear. A notable coachbuilding business known for their luxury, regularly supplying both motorised and non-motorised carriages to the royal family, Hooper & Co. offer readers a pocket-book on how to repair and take care of carriages to a high standard. Originally printed during an economic depression, the work was also designed for customers to save money for repairs. In the publisher's original paper wraps. Externally, very smart, with minimal marks and edgewear. End papers are clean. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Fine. book.
