Binding strong & straight, hinges secure. Pages creamy white with age-appropriate tanning. Old gift inscription dated 1934 inside front cover; no publication date in book. Flaws are primarily external, including spine fading & heavy wear to spine along joints, with cloth tearing & fraying, bumped corners. light soil. No DJ. Soundly bound with very occasional light cracking to gutter between pages. Text is generally bright and clean throughout with some occasional spotting or usage mark to text.
