Internally, upper corner of preface creased, otherwise tight, clean, paper crisp, unmarked, and apparently never read. Internally, previous owner's signature (in pencil) erased small pencil marks on 8 or 9 pp, side edges of 7 or 8 leaves chipped (probably from careless opening of uncut leaves; text unaffected) , rare stray spot of foxing, otherwise tight, clean, unmarked and probably never really read.
