Exceptionally uncommon collection of black and white photographs taken in the early 1980s of the poor working class community outside of Atlanta known as Cabbagetown. DJ nicely in archival wraps with minor tears and nicks to the edges; interior clean. Catledge (1928 - 2015) was a nearly-blind Atlanta photographer who documented Cabbagetown's hard-scrabble inhabitants starting around 1980, around the time when the century-old Fulton Bag and Cotton Mill there closed.
