Hardcover. Condition: Very good. Dust Jacket Condition: good. Fourth printing [stated]. xi, [1], 484 pages. Small tear at top edge of rear dust jacket. Introduction by Peggy and Harold Samuels. The book contains Remington's widely acclaimed novel "The Way of an Indian," of which President Theodore Roosevelt said, "It may be true that no white man ever understood an Indian, but.you convey the impression of understanding him." In turn, Remington got exclusive access to the soldiers and their stories and boosted his reputation with the reading public as "The Soldier Artist". Frederic Remington (illustrator).…
