The front board has an area of bleaching (possibly from a careless laboratory session?). The spine is darkened such that the title is difficult to read. There is some wear to the extremities. The top and fore edges have a previous owner's name and a date (1936) written on them. The front free endpaper has some pencilled notes. Six pages have some notes inked on them.
