Two colour cloth, author and title in gilt to upper cover, t.e.g. Spine browned, white cloth soiled, rubbed to edges and corners, green cloth lightly rubbed to lower cover. Internally the free endpapers have browned, otherwise fairly bright and clean. Title in red and black. Proof copy, with pencil amendments to title and single leaf of text. The proof prospectus is laid in loosely, this with a note in pen to head.
