Hbk, 595pp, 16mo, this is Briscoe's revision to Oldknow and Crake's original edition, adding Latin hymns for festivals and the Hours following the work of Bishop Challoner, the 1928 Proposed BCP collects have not been included, since permission for reprinting them was… denied, includes the Lesser Hours, litanies, etc., not in the BCP, a few tears and edgewear to dj, previous owner's insc. on front fly, otherwise this is overall an excellent, clean, tight copy, no foxing, browning or other markings to the pages, boards and gilt titles are clean and crisp, very scarce.
