      Condition: Fair. No Edition Remarks. 960 pages. No dust jacket. Decorated brown cloth. Contains black and white illustrated plates. Pages and plates are lightly tanned and foxed throughout. Brown staining to page edges. Slight cracking to gutters of a few pages. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper and pastedown. Minor dog-eared corners. Binding is slightly shaky. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Soft crushing to spine ends. Notable scuffing and stained marking overall. Moderate tanning to spine and edges. Water stained marking to boards.

      664pp with 2 colour plates. Contains the whole of 'Washed Ashore' by W. H. G. Kingston in 12 parts. Owner's name on front free endpaper. Partial loss to front pastedown. Some stains from leather at corners/edges of endpapers. Hinges cracked and repaired. Green paper boards with very worn green half-calf; particularly worn along spine. Gilt lettering and ruling on spine, with four raised bands. Leather at bottom corner of rear board lost. Used - Good. Good hardback in half-leather.

      8vo. viii, 664p. Illustrated, including color frontispiece, many woodcut text drawings and full-page plates. Contains stories by various authors. Bound in the publisher's original green cloth over beveled boards, the spine and upper cover embossed and densely decorated in a series of decorative frames and central panel with title on gilt background, lower cover repeating the upper in blind, a.e.g., brown endpapers. Contains the first appearance of Louisa May Alcott's story "Madam Cluck and Her Family" later collected in Aunt Jo's Scrap Bag. Very slight wear, but an exceptionally bright copy - rare thus.
