[ca. 1880s] Ornate bright gilt and red illustration on original green cloth covered front board. Bright gilt page edges. Numerous and very colorful duotones illustrating Romantic Victorian Ballads. Very hard to find. Some signs of slight rubbing to the original cloth binding, especially at the edges of the beveled boards. Otherwise, overall, the book is in very good condition. A beautiful big book.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 3 volume set. Hardcover bound in red cloth with gold lettering. All 3 vol have toning, particularly to spines, bumped corners, and edgewear all around. All 3 bindings tight and square. Title pages dated 1887; no copyright pages. Vol. I 460 pages; Vol. II 397 pages; Vol. III 423 pages. All pages uniformly toned but clean of marks and tears.
