    Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. A nice, tight copy issued without dust jacket. Book is 1/4 buckram over red cloth. Gold vignette on the front cover. Title block in red with gold lettering and stamping. some damp staining to front cover, but virtually no wear. Marbled endpapers. Remnants of previous owner's book plate on front free endpaper. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Dimensions: 25cm x 17cm approx. Looks at the City's history from a unique perspective. Includes a preface by The Lord Bishop of Oxford + errata. 388 pages with (4) facsimile documents, one of which is a fold-out. Very nice copy!
