1st. Edn. Large 8vo. (26cm. tall x 19cm.). pp. i, 692, xxiv. Printed in double column format. In contemporary half calf over marbled boards. Red and black labels to raised banded spine. Hinges rubbed and a trifle weak. This apart a very good hardback copy. Free from foxing and annotation.
