Puntuale è la cronaca del "terrore rosso", messo in campo dal fronte anarco-comunista ai danni del mondo ecclesiastico e della società civile: una barbarie che colpì migliaia di innocenti e operò la profanazione del patrimonio artistico e spirituale. Eoin O'Duffy was the leader of the Irish Brigade on the side of Franco in the Spanish Civil War; his book relates his experiences at the head of 700 men. He returned to Ireland at the end of the war and tried to raise a body of men to fight with the Nazis on the Russian front. He considered himself to be one of the most important men in Europe after Hitler and Mussolini; he became the Chief of Staff of the IRA, the second Commissioner of the Garda, leader of the Army Comrades Association and then the first leader of Fine Gael.
