Up to date methods of making eye moulds and all-plastic contact lens, fitting lenses, and solutions required, are described. Several U.S. Patents on contact lenses are reproduced. The author was President, Obrig Laboratories, Inc., New York City. and four of their house monthly publications, 'Contacts,' two from 1946 and two from 1959, circa 10 pages--and two papers (reprinted) contact lens related, (' A New Ophthalmic Impression Material' (Pollner's negocoll) by Theodore E. Obrig, 1943; and 'The Fitting of Contact Lenses' by Philip L. Salvatori and Americo Oriani, (c) 1943, AMA--5 pages and 4 pages, both papers illustrated) both "Contacts' and papers are included with the book, laid in loose. Book condition: Book's cover has faded areas (circa one sq.in.) on the rearcover; book edges are covered with scattered foxing; rear endpapers are nearly covered with tipped-in book reviews and book ads for contact lens related books; six pages have a line underlined with ink, and one has some marginal notes in ink; otherwise, book is rather attractive, has a tight binding, and text is in VG condition.
