Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Arline Simon (illustrator). One in a series of publications created by the design firm of Pentagram. This one is Pentagram Papers 43, and is titled "Drawing McCarthy". It consists mainly of b/w drawings on cream colored paper of some of the characters involved in the notorious McCarthy hearings from the 1950's. Portraits done by Arline Simon with essays by Victor Navasky and Emily Oberman. The title of the Navasky essay is "India Ink Versus the Political Smear". The front cover features a small vintage b/w photograph of Senator Joseph McCarthy and his lawyer Roy Cohn. Other vintage b/w photographs are found by opening up the flaps of the front and rear covers. Minor scuffing to covers, esp. edges; otherwise, the piece is in excellent condition, with no marks of any kind.
