VG with hard horizontal crease. 3: P&O PORTS OF CALL PORT SAID, SUEZ AND ADEN 14x22cm (6)pp including + 3pp maps, undated but approx late 1940s based on Aden population data. G with tape repair to corner. 4. P&O PORTS OF CALL ADEN 14x22cm (4)pp including double-page map, dated May 1958. Self wraps 13x19cm, (8)pp including double page colour map of Aden with inset of Tawahi and Steamer Point. Texts vary but the maps are the same. VG. 9. SS ORSOVA ORIENT LINE RED SEA RACE MEETING Weds 30 March 1955. Green card booklet 13 x 21cm 4pp, including details about the race, its patron and judges, the Programme of Races including the Aden Amble, Perim Prowl, Bab El Mandeb Bounce, Jidda Jaunt, Suez Scamper, and The Orsova Cup, with names of the owners, horses, and jockeys (pp2-3), and the rules: "1. The horses having been placed on the starting line the function of the jockey is to wind in the horse as speedily as possible to the finish line." (p4). A later edition dated 5 Aug 1965 is held in the P&O Heritage Collection. Fine. 10: D.P. GLAVIN (CHEF), P&O DINNER MENU, SS HIMALAYA 5 Mar 1963, card 18x26cm, 4pp with watercolour illustration by David Knight to the front captioned "Feluccas in Red Sea", a definition to the back, and inside the menu and wine list with Australian wines well represented. VG, foxed. 11: PORT OF ADEN INVITATION CARD gilt-edged 16x12cm printed in black: "The Chairman of Trustees of the Port of Aden request the pleasure of the company of Mr & Mrs D, McL. Wilson at a farewell Cocktail party to Lt Commander PLS Baxendale OBE, RD, RNR (Retd) to be held at the Chairman's residence, Port Trust House, Tawahi at 6.30pm on Thursday 14th April 1960. RSVP". Philip Lionel Salisbury Baxendale (d.1986) was Port Officer. NF, tanned. 12: TO COMMEMORATE THE OPENING OF P&O HOUSE, ADEN, December 1957, cord bound wraps 17x23cm colour coat of arms and b/w photo of P&O House tipped on. 10+1pp containing a history of P&O and its involvement in Aden with 4 b/w photos and description of P&O House. VG with minor loss to cover photo and penciled edits to the description.
