Gray cloth, titles in panels stamped in red on the cover and spine. Printed at the Westminster Press. Author signed in ink on front endpaper. Owner signature in ink, opposite. In the color illustrated dust jackets, unclipped (7/6 net). Cover edges and spine age toned, edges age toned, top edge damp stain, age tone transfer to endpapers. Outer jacket spine heavily sunned and damp stained, edges chipped, short closed tears. Inner jacket spine damp stained, edges chipped, creases to back flap, colors vibrant. O'Leary's best known novel, where a woman experiences several identities. Ardizzone went on to be a prolific illustrator in mid-century Britain and is most remembered for his children's book illustrations, including his own Little Tim series.
