Tan morocco leather spine decorated with black title label with bright gilt stamped title lettering; ochre-dyed linen over boards with front board featuring embossed black portrait medallion of Wordsworth inset at center. Past owners' personal bookplate ("Garfield et Helen Tourney") on front pastedown; interior pages are bright and clean. Binding remains quite crisp. Else a fine copy in a good dust jacket with a very good+ slipcase. With tan endpapers, Introduction by editor Jonathan Wordsworth, and ten color (including frontispiece) plus twenty b/w illustrations by John O'Connor with his signature and the book's hand-numbered limitation provided on a concluding leaf. Laid-in at front endpapers are {#1} LEC Monthly Letter 470 for October 1970 and {#2} LEC promotional sheet/advance shipping notice. Book's original owner was noted Jackson, Mississippi psychiatrist Dr. Garfield Tourney (1927-1999) who was editor of "Lafayette Clinic Studies On Schizophrenia" (Wayne State University Press, 1971).
