Original poster for "Ladislav Sutnar: Visual Design in Action," an exhibition sponsored by the American Institute of Graphic Arts and held at the Pepsi-Cola Exhibition Gallery in New York City in 1961. The exhibition, in cooperation with Champion Papers, originated at the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati, and was the basis for the seminal book of the same title, with the same image on the cover. The poster is an offset print on a heavy, glossy paper (Champion Kromekote cast coated enamel paper) and is in excellent, uncirculated original condition. The design of the poster is attributed to Noel Martin, using Sutnar's images and typography. From the estate of Elaine Lustig Cohen, renowned graphic designer and artist. Unframed.
