Rebound in dark olive buckram cloth (1940s/50s?) with addition of new endpapers and flyleaves; patches of surface abrasion to spine and boards; chipping losses to spine's maroon title label and black date label with latter having lettering loss. Small stains to toned/foxed text block edges. Bookplate of Lucius Bryan Dabney on front pastedown. Some foxing throughout but strongest in initial and rear leaves.
