Illustrated throughout with color photographs and maps, following an itinerary from Baghdad and central Iraq to the south in Basra, and to the obscure lagoons and reed-beds of the Marsh Arabs. Young is an English journalist and travel writer. Photographed by Nik Wheeler, a British-born photographer who began his career as a photojournalist in the Vietnam War. I.
