Black-and-white pen-and-ink text illustrations complete throughout. Boards show general wear consistent with age, including rubbing and light scuffing to edges, corners, and spine ends. Some light soiling and discoloration to cloth covers, most noticeable on rear board. Endpapers show toning and water staining, with a curved tidemark on the front free endpaper. No previous owner inscriptions or bookplates. Pages tanned as expected for stock of this period. A scarce Edwardian children's book co-authored by the celebrated E.
