Presentamos seis xilografías originales con imágenes panorámicas de la ciudad de Siena y algunos edificios característicos de la ciudad como por…ejemplo la Catedral o la Fonte Branda. * Dario Neri (1895-1958), se inicia en la disciplina artística de la xiolografía de la mano de Adolfo De Carolis. De 1920 a 1934 se dedica por completo al mundo artístico alternando su trabajo como grabador y pintor. A partir de 1920 destaca por su gran participación en muestras y exposiciones tanto nacionales como internacionales. De 1935 a 1944 cesa su actividad como grabador y enfoca su trabajo en la pintura. Fue director del Senese Istituto d' Arte entre 1934 y 1943, Miembro del consejo municipal de Bellas Artes, de la Comisión de Construcción. A partir de 1951 fue miembro honorífico de la Diputación Administrativa del Monte dei Paschi. En 1944, Neri funda la Editorial Electa de Florencia, especializada en arte, llegando a ser una de las más prestigiosas de la época. Fue editor del gran crítico Bernard Beremon. Pero si es especialmente reconocido hoy en día es por su actividad artística. Enzo Corli lo calificó como el mayor pintor senese del S. XX. Bibliofilia. Xilografia. Dario Neri. Siena.
