Soft cover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. Printed in Austria. [Date from the copyright page.] First Printing. Typography, Page Layout, Sample Pages in Facsimile, Chronology, Postscript (with Acknowledgments); 148 pages. Original blank stiff white card covers; white 'French flaps' with a photograph-portrait and black lettering on the front cover and black lettering on the spine. The original price-sticker ($24.50) is still present on the rear panel. The interior is fresh, bright, and completely clean, showing how my father, a noted Wittgenstein scholar, cared for this book, so special to him. [Please see my five images of the actual book.] "This bilingual volume [German and English] is an introduction to the "Wiener Ausgabe" of the works of Ludwig Wittgenstein (1889-1951). It not only explains the editorial method used in the new edition to unravel and make readable the complex structure of Wittgenstein's work, but also serves as a practical tool for the study of his writings [1929-1933]." (From the flap.) As with every book from my father's collection, tipped-in at the front is the small, attractive, acid-free bookplate pictured on my homepage. All books are wrapped with special care and are shipped promptly with tracking; international sales sent via global priority, also with tracking.

gebunden. Condition: Neu.
