El autor, Narciso de Ametller y Cabrera, (Bañolas (Geron…a), 1810 - 1877). fue militar en las fuerzas anticarlistas (pasando a apoyar a los carlistas), diputado, amigo (y después enemigo) de Juan Prim, escritor, guitarrista y compositor, fue de esos personajes pintorescos que España producía en el siglo XIX. No sé dónde están ahora. Español.
