No Binding. Condition: Very Good. A fine original Baxter print, ca 1850, mounted and ready to frame. No. 227 ''Vive L'Empereur'', Napolean III. This is an excellent opportunity ot purchase a print by Baxter who developed a method of printing in oil colours, using copper pr steel plates for his outlines, with neutral tones on the same plate obtained by aquatint or stipple. This process required between 10 and 20 wooden mental blocks for each reproduction.
