From the Foreword: "When our creative writing courses at the University of Manitoba came to a close in the spring of 1982, several of us refused to accept that the journey together was over. We felt that the mutual support of kindred spirits would be important if we were going to sustain and maintain our interests in writing creatively. Consequently, a core of seven writers formed the Creative Writer's Club of Manitoba in November of 1982. Our first published work appear in The Manitoban as a literary supplement in March, 1983. This is our second publication and, once again, we offer both prose and poetry for your entertainment. The themes, styles, moods and subjects presented here are nothing if not various.
