Tipped in, by means of strip along inner margin on reverse of second leaf, to grey card backing, carrying biographical details regarding Beveridge. Signature 'W H Beveridge' following last line of printed text on reverse of first leaf, with initials 'Most cordially | W H B.' in top left-hand corner of first page. Difficult to date precisely: Murray stood unsuccessfully as a Liberal candidate for the Oxford constituency five times between 1919 and 1929.
