Single-page folded theatrical program from a USO performance in North Africa early in the war. Cast with brief biographies includes several actors-turned-servicemen and 2 actresses courtesy of USO-Camp. Shows, Inc., namely Brooke Fleming and Virginia Robinson. Directed by George Abbott, theatrical and film producer whose career spanned 8 decades. Room Service was a 1937 screwball comedy about show business set in the White Way Hotel in New York City. It was the basis for the 1938 Marx Brothers film and was remade as Step Lively in 1944 with George Murphy and Frank Sinatra. Playwright John Murray served as a Captain in the Signal Corps during the war. Unusual piece of World War II ephemera, from the estate of a veteran. Creased, folded.
