Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. First edition. Octavo. 173, [3]pp. Black cloth stamped in white. Gift inscription, white lettering rubbed on the spine, small ink blot on a few of pages, overall very good lacking the dust jacket. Scarce anthology published through a vanity press. The editor conducted a column called *Ebony Rhyth…m* for the various newspapers of the Associated Negro Press. Includes poetry by Langston Hughes, Frank Marshall Davis, Nick Aaron Ford, and M.B. Tolson. Perhaps more interestingly, it also includes verse published in Black newspapers, periodicals, and student publications, by nearly a hundred largely forgotten African-American poets.
