Frontispiece present. Illustrated end papers. Original, price-clipped dj has some soil, color loss and closed tears present. Includes 3 wonderful stories. The first one being "Bobbin". It is about a naughty little white puppy(Highland White Terrier?), funny and fat- and full of mischief. The other two stories are about the adventures of Jemima Caroline- a toy doll with lots of courage. The stories are called, "Jemima Caroline's Adventures In The Woods", and "Jemima Caroline's Adventures In The River".

Within duo-tone illustrations in black and orange. Condition: Very Good. The covers, but for small marks, are clean; but each book has a mark to the top right where a sticker has been removed. They are not creased, though the corner of one has been turned. The spine of another, Bertie Butterbeak, is slightly damaged and this book has seen more use. The pages within, but for small marks and faults, are reasonably clean and un-thumbed. There is a library stamp on the first end paper, or title page, of each.

A very scarce charming children's book - scarcer still in dust wrapper. 3 different stories. Also Susan Folly's 'Jemima Caroline's adventures in the woods' illustrated by McIntyre and 'Jemima Caroline's adventures in the river' by the same pair. The text is supported by lovely two tone illustrations. The dust wrapper has not been price clipped. There is a 12mm open tear to the bottom of the front of the wrapper with a little associated creasing. There is very light creasing to top of front of wrapper and there are nicks to two corners of the wrapper. Nevertheless, a very good, very well preserved copy.
