Blue boards; light bumping at spine ends; pictorial front board with "Watty Piper" credit at bottom center (although he is not credited upon the title page). Slight foxing to edges; interior pages are clean. Binding is firm. A very good+ copy in a good+ dust jacket. THE THREE BEARS (Star No. 1070): short tear at lower spine fold. LONG AGO STORIES (Star No. 1091): fractional loss at top corners at spine head, tearing and surface scuffing along spine fold; features two short tales - "Tom Thumb" and "The Sleeping Beauty" (pages 7-16) with the latter being an extended version of that in the preceding Star No. 1067 but sharing three of the same illustrations.
