Zwischen 1952 und 1953 war er Museologe am Munkácsy Mihály Museum in Békéscsaba, zwischen 1953 und 1973 am Christlichen Museum in Esztergom und zwischen 1973 und 1991 am Ferenczy Museum in Szentendre. Mittelalterliche universelle und ungarische Malerei und Kunst. Er beschäftigte sich mit zeitgenössischer ungarischer Malerei. Er hat Bücher, Studien, Artikel und Kataloge zu diesen Themen veröffentlicht und zahlreiche große Ausstellungen organisiert.
