In good pictorial boards, with two girls with black horse by a gate to front and red titles and with image of girl to spine with pale titles. The boards are flat and also wobbly with collapsed hollow. The spine, spine edges and the board edges are worn and the front and back have pale marks. The end papers feature tan illustrations from the annual and are lightly marked and warped. The text block is illustrated with black and white drawings; the pages are even, firm and hardly marked.
