This is an old classic fiction story book and part of the Little Giant Books called Bubbles, copyright unknown with no date found, hard cover, no dust jacket, written by Mrs. Herbert Sprang. The book has spine taped, bumped corners and edge wear, pages browning due to aging, otherwise in good condition with firm binding, nice illustrations, clean and 77 pages. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall 0.

In good pictorial boards, with two girls with black horse by a gate to front and red titles and with image of girl to spine with pale titles. The boards are flat and also wobbly with collapsed hollow. The spine, spine edges and the board edges are worn and the front and back have pale marks. The end papers feature tan illustrations from the annual and are lightly marked and warped. The text block is illustrated with black and white drawings; the pages are even, firm and hardly marked. Good plus condition. With stories by: W. M. Letts; Dorothea Moore; Thura Lifford; Eileen Wright; Beryl Irving; Margaret Baker; Margaret Baines Reed; Mabel Hinton; L. F. Scott; G. M. Not dated but probably from the first quarter of the 20th century. The "belongs to" page has been filled in and there is evidence of previous ownership on the front free end paper. Numerous monochrome and partially coloured illustrations, mostly in the text, some full page. Boards lightly soiled; rubbed, especially along edges; corners heavily bumped; tail of spine torn; front board with a 3cm tear near tail of spine and repaired with tape on inside. Pages almost entirely clean with just the very occasional spot; some light creasing to page margins through use. Front hinger tender at tail; otherwise binding firm.
