The album measures 13 inches by 10 inches approx., loosely… inserted at the front is an original letter and envelope from a W. B. Foss to Mr Ingle presenting him with the album, Foss was obviously involved in the construction of the mine and put the album together as a record for the Mine Manager Mr Ingle. The album contains one hundred and thirty three original photographs The covers are worn but solid, internally a number of the pages are loose from the binding, with some chipping to page edges, one loose photo else in good general condition A VERY NICE ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPHIC RECORD OF THE SETING UP OF A SOUTH AFRICAN GOLD MINE IN 1941.
