Scarce revised edition of this classic work, with changes chiefly concerned with the diffferential diagnosis of duodenal ulcer and the result of x-ray examinations of the stomach after administration of radioactive bismuth, with a se…parate appendix containing the results of cases operated on in 1909 and 1910, so that the results of earlier and later cases could be contrasted and compared; this ediiton also contains additonal drawings by Ethel M. Wright. A well-used copy with chipping to tips and to head and foot of spine, spine shows considerable loss of color due to minute spotting, front endpaper has short tear, but sound and clean internally.
