This is a graphic sign printed on thick paper (13 1/2" x 14") issued in ca. 1910 promoting "Fishing - Boating - Swimming." The lake area also has "Wonderful Mineral Springs." Abrams Lakes is located at the base of Mt. Shasta in Siskiyou County. The name "Abrams Lakes" was a typographical error and the correct name is, and always has been, Abrams Lake. The image shows a canoeist on the lake with Mt. Shasta in the background. A rare sign. There are no examples found in public or private university collections or public libraries. Quite attractive. In very good condition, with a small chip at the upper left corner and light edge wear.…
