Dust jacket has very light shelf wear, 1cm closed tear at spine heel, chipping to edges, mirrors book damage, price clipped. Numerous black and white illustrations in text throughout.

First edition. Large 8vo (9 1/4 x 7 inches), 155-pages. Original green pictorial cloth blocked in black & gilt. Foxing at front, binding rubbed and with wear to headbands. 3-inch tear into one leaf (without loss), paper to inner joints cracked but firm.
