Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book, a vivid and brutally honest expose of the time, paints a grim picture of life in Boston during the 19th century. Drawing on personal interviews and the author's own investigations, it shines a light on the rampant crime, vice, and corruption that plagued the city. The author explores this hidden world through the experiences of ordinary Bostonians, revealing stories of poverty, despair, and shattered dreams.
