Second Edition. oblong 4to. pp.287.Profusely illustrated in black & white, mainly photographs. original red cloth hardcover titled in gilt in pictorial dustwrapper. Very Good Copy. The story of 937 Jews who in 1939 escaped aboard the St Louis. The ship was turned back in Cuba and returned to Europe. Many later perished at the hands of the Germans, but some survived.
