With 16 hand SIGNED prints of the 17 different Mexican artists who contributed to the "Mexican Society of Professional Artists"; at the beginning of the different sections each artist has a hand signed original inserted plate (except the artist Adrian Tavera didn't signed the print)…numbered limited edition of 2,500 copies (in the rear of the book is a tipped in certificate stating the edition size on the last endpaper & this is #466/2,500); CONTRIBUTING ARTISTS: Luis Palomares, Enrique Sanchez, Juan Chamizo, Lucille Wong, Ignacio Castaneda, Jose Montiel, Adriano Silva, Mario Aguirre, Armando Ahuatzi, Adrian Tavera, Rosa Maria Altal, Gerardo Manrique de Lara, Manuel Navarro, Yolanda Quijano, Tomas Gondi (a fold out print), Roman Castelltort, Cristina Niizawa; each inserted plate averages around 10x10in; 347pages; book size: 11-1/4 x 11-1/4in (28 x 28cms); with a biographies of each artists in Spanish & English, and numerous colored examples of the artist's work with tipped in plates. CONDITION OF BOOK & PLATES: with no dustjacket; this is a hardback edition with black cloth boards; book is tight; about 1/4in of the front & spine black cloth boards have sunning making it grayish; 1 small corner has a small dent; the first title page is a pulled but still attached (front & back clothe boards are not in good condition); tiny bit of foxing to endpapers & some of the interior smooth pages; 2 sheets of the interior smooth pages are partly torn, otherwise interior tipped in plates, text pages, and the 17 prints are in VERY GOOD COND.
