Hardcover. Second Impression. pp. 288. Royal 8vo., measuring 6" x 9". Light blue cloth over boards. Lovely black and white illustrations all accompanied with their original tissue-guards, illustrated endpapers. Slight spine slant, rubbing to boards, very light occasional foxing (chiefly confined to the endpapers) otherwise, the contents remain bright, clean, and unmarked with tigth, sound binding; very good. "A life of Cervantes as vivid as it is charming in its insight. Against a background of the glory of the Spain of Cervantes' day the author has portrayed the life of her greatest genius, a life full of tribulation & wonder, of action & hard luck & excitement.".
