Presented by Ray A. Billington, Carey S. Bliss, Edwin H. Carpenter, French Fogle, James Thorpe, Daniel H. Woodward". The booklet is a 30 page history of early vaccination procedures in the then Spanish-held California, privately printed for the members of the Zamorano and Roxburghe book clubs, of Los Angeles and San Francisco, respectively. Booklet is illustrated with a b&w reproduction of a painting of Edward Jenner as frontispiece, and a section of photographs of an original manuscript at the back of booklet.
