Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. Book Club Edition. "Copyright © 1958, 1959 by Mercury Press" on its copyright page, "BOOK CLUB EDITION" and no price on its jacket's un-clipped front flap, and the publisher's "TODAY'S FICTION -- TOMORROW'S FACTS" essay on its jacket back begins "LIFE Magazine says there are more than TWO MILLION science fiction fans in this country" … so this is the initial book club edition. On the bottom of its last page is publisher's printing date "B-13" (April 1960.) This book and its dust jacket are both in very good condition. The book's binding is sound and square, with no spine crease. Covers are unmarked, with unfaded spine titles, marred only by light bumps on its spine ends and bottom corners, but otherwise unworn. Pages are unmarked and unworn, with unfaded red topstain. Its dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is also in very good condition, whole and unmarked, marred only by light toning along its top edge and flap folds, plus traces of wear on the ends of its spine and flap folds, but otherwise bright and unworn. I will ship this book in a moisture-proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble cushion, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the condition described.
