From the analysis of the practical first principles, and of the practical premiss along with the practical syllogism we can form an exact idea of Aristotles conception of ethical principles. We can see further how he thought they could be established. Aristotles theory of rà nQaxrà concerns both ethics and politics. Hence, the way by which we grasp ethical principles, the method of ra TiQaKTa in general, is also applicable to the political field. Aristotle ascribes this method to legislative art {voyoderixy) as the right way for the lawgiver to carry out his task.
