Michel de Bourges et Frédéric Girerd allaient être mêlés aux procès les plus retentissants de la Monarchie de Juillet, notamment en défendant les républicains lors du procès monstre de 1835. Michel de Bourges (1797-1853) : - Poème autographe sans titre, signé "M", [Paris, s. d.], 1 page in-4 à l'encre brune, adresse au dos "Rue de la Verrerie n° 35 au 1er, fond de la cour". - Poème autographe intitulé "Réveille toi", s. l. n. d., 1 page in-folio à l'encre brune. - Poème autographe intitulé "9 heures du soir", s. l. n. d., 1 page in-8 à l'encre brune. - Note autographe (fragment ?), s. l. n. d., 2 pages in-12 oblong à l'encre brune : "moi qui suis une puissance du monde, ils croyaient me dominer. Paris, s. d., 5 cahiers brochés de 13, 12, 12, 12 et 9 feuillets à l'encre brune, nom et adresse sur le premier feuillet "Alexis Frebault rue d'Enfer n° 54 Paris". Après ses études de droit à Paris, où il fait la connaissance de Michel de Bourges, il s'installe comme avoué à Nevers, sa ville de naissance, dont il devint maire. Moins démocrate que ses amis, il finit par se rallier à Napoléon III. Provenance : Suzanne Berthe Clorinde Girerd, épouse Lequime (1895-1975), arrière-petite-fille de Frédéric Girerd.
