Softcover. Condition: Fine. This 6.0 x 9.0 inch, 31 page softcover book is the circa 1950 publication of this title. This copy is in fine condition with only one one-quarter inch tear to the back panel of the cover and some very indistinct indentations from an apparent paper-clip that was used to hold a single piece of paper of the same National Committee announcing the publication, date June 1950 and signed by the President of the National Committee - - which is now laid in loose. This item shows on the inside front wrapper some distinguished members of this National Committee, which include Allen Dulles, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Henry Luce, Darryl Zanuck, and another 40 additional listed people. The text prints Michael Shipkov?s story of his life in Eastern Europe following WWII and his struggle with the Russian dominated Communist government. 31 pages.
