Dark green cloth spine with light gray boards; bright color illustrations (same as dj panels) on front and rear boards; slight fraying at spine heel; board corners bumped. Illustrated endpapers; color frontispiece as well as color and b/w illustrations within text by Alexandre Serebriakoff. Bottom corner of last page of text and rear free endpaper creased. A very good+ copy in a good+ dust jacket.

Opera News Magazine, The Metropolitan Opera Guild Inc., Opera News Magazine Volume 18 1953-1954, 20 softcover issues bound in a very sturdy hard-board Federbush binder. All issues are in VERY GOOD to NEAR FINE condition (all issues show a evidence of a vertical fold but not creased, some issues…show some very, very light age toning along some sections of the covers and light scattered wear to cover edges.). The cover of the first issue has a note paper-clipped to the top stating that issues 5, 6, 8, & 9 are missing. Another cover has a newspapwer clipping paper-clipped to the top. Two issues have a name written on the front cover. The binder shows light corner wear and some light scattered scuffing.
