With 8 large monochrome photographic illustrations to 6 plates, including full-page view of Hutton Castle, and 3 miles to 1 inch Map of the district with estate and settlements marked in colour inside front cover; card envelope to inner rear cover containing folded large colour plan of the Estate approximately 101 cm x 76 cm, with the 6 lots printed in different colours and the acreages of each land parcel noted, and the neighbouring estates named. Printed stiff grey card wraps with embossed black titles. Short closed tear to top edge of lower joint, Contents clean and crisp with no annotation or inscriptions. A near fine copy. A superior production reflecting the prestige of the estate, a sporting and residential property with a valuable agricultural estate including "sound" tenantry for which there had been no rent arrears in twenty years. Hutton Castle is north-east pf Berwick upon Tweed, just over the border; it dates back to the thirteenth century and was latterly the property of Baron Tweedmouth of Edington. The six lots included the mansion and pleasure grounds, and five agricultural holdings including a Mill.
